Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready; it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”— for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints. And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.” Revelation 19:7-9
This blog is coming about because recently I felt the Father’s heart and He was in tears. He just was crying out saying, “My people aren’t ready. They aren’t prepared.” In lieu of this matter being heavy on His heart, He had me write this blog out which has been in the works for some time but He emphatically has me sitting down now to write this out and finish it. He has been talking to me about it as I sleep and as I wake and I’m working to convey all that is in His heart. Just recently I did a Tiktok video about alarms going off in the spirit. This is the continuation and hopefully a fuller picture to a VERY IMPORTANT concern on the heart of the Father. Have you ever had a time where you had to wait on a ride? You could have had to wait on an Uber, a taxi, or a ride from a parent, friend or family member. It would be irresponsible to not be on the “look out” for your ride after you have called this person to come and pick you up. Imagine calling a ride and then you go into a store to shop or some other manner of distraction. When your ride arrives and they can’t find you, especially after riding around for some time they may resort to leaving you. To stay on guard and on the “lookout” is considered a watch.
One of the things I keep hearing ringing in my spirit, meaning God keeps telling me over and over again, is “WATCH” or “WATCH AS WELL AS PRAY”
This is the very thing that God told Adam in the bible. He put Him in the Garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
Genesis 2:15 KJV
[15] And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
That word “keep” in Genesis 2:15 in Hebrew is Shamar and it means to keep, watch and preserve. Why is that so important?
It is important because if Adam would have “watched” in terms of being on the lookout with the intent to preserve the integrity of this holy place and with the intentionality of his purpose, then Eve would not have been deceived. He would have recognized the serpent and his devices and would have thwarted the attack.
The irony of this is that modern day man still has a watch on earth. We should purposefully walk with God and submit to the process of transformation through translation. What does that mean? It means we should remain true to the intentionality of our purpose, like Adam, we still have a watch which shows our guardianship of earth. Just as Adam walked with God in the cool of the day, we are still charged to walk with Him. We are still in the process of being transformed that we have oil but we also have another aspect of our watch which is for His return.
Now let’s explore all that was just said.
TRANSLATION
Colossians 1:13 KJV
[13] who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
The word, translated, in the greek means to transpose, transfer, remote from one place to another
That definition is loaded and a lot to unpack but for the sake of this blog I will express translation as remoting from one place to another. From that definition, we can see there is some matter of transport in the spirit and this manner of transport, I believe, is our ability to be able to be seated in heavenly places and take our seat of authority with Christ Jesus. It is the transference or the teleporting from one kingdom into another.
When I think of remote, I think of the ability to work from home. One can still operate within the network of the company but ones’ physical location does not have to be at the workplace.
God has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and remoted us into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son. This is what happens when we receive salvation. We now abide under the jurisdiction of the Kingdom but our physical location is here on earth. We work on earth but we remain under heaven’s direction.
TRANSFORMATION
The Oil
Did you know?
According to Merino USA
“Wool is carefully shorn (cut using electric clippers) from the live sheep by sheepshearers. Sheepshearers are specialized farm workers who learn this skill over many years of shearing practice. They shear (cut) the wool off the sheep; then the wool is washed before the wool oil (lanolin) is extracted (scoured) from the wool.
Lanolin is the precious oily secretion from the skin of the sheep that becomes trapped in the sheep’s wool. When the sheep is shorn each year (the sheep’s hair cut) the wool is washed, processed & the Lanolin Oil extracted & refined. The Lanolin is the sheep’s natural nourisher & protector against the extremes of its environment.”
NOTE: The Lanolin is the Sheep’s natural nourisher & protector against the extremes of its environment.”
Why am I mentioning the process of sheep’s oil? Because in the Kingdom of God, the process of transformation is a necessary process for the oil. You must be cut by the Shepherd to have oil (John 10:11-18). That means you have to allow the word of God to cleanse you and purify you. You must allow God to cut away that which separates you from Him. It is the process of purification and sanctification that produces oil in the believer.
Revelations 6:5-6
Revelation 6:5 KJV
[5] And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand[6] And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine
In the book of Revelation it talks about those who have been marked on their foreheads by the angel of the Lord. This signified their belonging to Him. In the midst of the Great tribulation, when the angels went forth to fulfill the various judgements at a set time, the angel was told see that you hurt not the oil and the wine. This is why it is IMPORTANT to have oil!!!! Oil is one of the indicators in the time of judgment that we belong to God! It was told to the angel hurt not those that have been transformed and those in covenant. There was a price paid for the harvest, redemption and freedom and because of that price those were not to be touched.
We must abide by Romans 12:1-2
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Let’s recount the story in the bible of the 5 foolish virgins and the 5 wise virgins.
Matthew 25:1-13
“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are gone out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.
Now here we see again the word “WATCH”. There is a process of transformation we should be constantly undergoing to have oil but there is also a watch whereby we are listening to God by the myriad of ways He communicates to understand the times we are living in. Being quick to hear and slow to speak. Watching and monitoring the conversation of God through people, places and things. All of it matters, the said and the unsaid. For instance, one thing I have noticed by the Spirit of the Lord is this, in the book of Revelation, which is the book of revealed knowledge, John has a vision and in that vision he was speaking of, at the coming of the Lord, there will be what I call a parade in my own words but Rev. 1:7 says He will come riding on a cloud. My mind began to think, where in the Bible was there another parade? I instantly thought about, in my own words, not the bible, “The Parade of Palms”. Right before Good Friday, Jesus rode in on a donkey and the people were singing His praise and throwing palms down on the road. Now let me show you how you can trace what God is saying. The Bible says no man knows the day or the hour of God’s coming but you can know the season and in this case, the season is the time of passover. Now is that what the Bible says, NO! But, is that careful watch and one seeking to be prepared on their watch, YES. Now am I saying to herald this and copy this and post this and live by this, NO! Am I saying map out patterns in the Bible to be prepared for things that may happen, Yes. God watches over His word to perform it and we must watch over what He has said to be prepared.
Now before you become upset with my previous statements let’s watch this in the Bible.
2 Kings 2:1-3
2 When the Lord was about to take Elijah up to heaven in a whirlwind, Elijah and Elisha were on their way from Gilgal. 2 Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here; the Lord has sent me to Bethel.”
But Elisha said, “As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.
3 The company of the prophets at Bethel came out to Elisha and asked, “Do you know that the Lord is going to take your master from you today?”
“Yes, I know,” Elisha replied, “so be quiet.”
We see from the above passage that by the spirit the company of prophets in Bethel knew that Elijah was going to be taken away. They were on their watch and they knew what was about to happen. Now let’s read further.
2 Kings 2:5
5 The company of the prophets at Jericho went up to Elisha and asked him, “Do you know that the Lord is going to take your master from you today?”
Here is another company of prophets. This time in Jericho. On their watch yet again and they said the same thing the company of prophets of Bethel said.
2 Kings 2:9-15
9 When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, “Tell me, what can I do for you before I am taken from you?”
“Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit,” Elisha replied.
10 “You have asked a difficult thing,” Elijah said, “yet if you see me when I am taken from you, it will be yours—otherwise, it will not.”
11 As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind. 12 Elisha saw this and cried out, “My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!” And Elisha saw him no more. Then he took hold of his garment and tore it in two.
13 Elisha then picked up Elijah’s cloak that had fallen from him and went back and stood on the bank of the Jordan. 14 He took the cloak that had fallen from Elijah and struck the water with it. “Where now is the Lord, the God of Elijah?” he asked. When he struck the water, it divided to the right and to the left, and he crossed over.
15 The company of the prophets from Jericho, who were watching, said, “The spirit of Elijah is resting on Elisha.”
Elisha was able to see. He occupied a watch and by the Spirit of God, He could see in the spirit. That ability to see allowed him to now receive a double portion of Elijah’s spirit. We can see by this story that watching requires being in the spirit; Communing with God is the key to this just as Adam did in the cool of the day.
Now let’s talk about the Bride. Who is the Bridegroom and who is the Bride?
Isaiah 54:5 ESV
For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called.
Ephesians 5:22-32 KJV
22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
Revelation 21:9-11 ESV
Then came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues and spoke to me, saying, “Come, I will show you the Bride, the wife of the Lamb.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great, high mountain, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God, having the glory of God, its radiance like a rarest jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal.
From the scriptures above we can see Jesus Christ is the Bridegroom and the church is the Bride.
To understand the Bride of Christ, we have to recount a bit of Jewish Wedding tradition. Then we will go back to the parable of the 5 foolish virgins and the 5 wise.
According to wikipedia, a jewish marriage goes in this manner…
The ceremony includes two distinct rituals, the betrothal (kiddushin) and the completion of the marriage itself (ni’usin). In kiddushin the bride accepts symbolic payment and a signed contract or ketubah from the groom. The payment is generally made with a ring, but in Sefardic weddings it can be paid with a coin. Each of these steps includes wine, which was served in two glasses. Prayers are said over the first glass before the gift of the ring, and then seven blessings are pronounced over the second glass following the reading of the ketubah. Finally, the groom breaks the glass under his foot. The breaking of the glass symbolizes the destruction of the Second Temple, thereby reminding the assembled party of the need to be mindful of unhappiness even at moments of great joy.
Something to note about weddings in the Jewish culture, in the betrothal stage, the man goes to prepare a place for his wife. When he returns he comes back for his bride and they get married.
Now you can begin to see the parallelisms between Jesus and the church.
- He came and there was a parade (Good Friday/Passover)
- He paid a dowry for His bride which was His life
- The Father accepts His sacrifice in exchange for all nations (man)
- The Bride accepts the price paid through salvation and enters into a signed (verbal) contract/covenant with God
- He went away to prepare a place.
- He will return for His bride
Let me point out this fact from Matthew 25:1-13, THERE IS A SEPARATION!!!! Those who are followers of Christ and those that appear to follow Christ and there will be a distinct difference. The issue with the virgins is this, they became weary in doing well. They all had lamps. One set had no oil and the others had the oil necessary to meet with the bridegroom. In other words, some endured the transformation process and the other set grew weary in the transformation process. YOU CANNOT HAVE OIL WITHOUT TRANSFORMATION!!!!! One thing is definitely for sure from this scripture you can’t meet the bridegroom without OIL.
I had a dream about a friend of mine. In this dream, there was an open field where people were going about their day. Then this storm began to brew. It was a really bad storm brewing. I noticed it and I knew it was coming but I was waiting for it to get closer before I took action. But there were others who were in a safe place. I saw 2 apostles I know and their friends and people they knew in this safe place. While they were in this place they were singing and worshipping God. Once the storm began to get close enough I began to run running to safety. As I was running I began to run with all my might and then someone I didn’t know just appeared and was running with me. In this place of safety these apostles and others were just here worshiping the Lord. This actually felt foreign to me because it seemed like I hadn’t done it in awhile. I was low in the spirit. I remember running and running fast to this place and just barely making it in before the storm’s effects. Anyways, there was another bunker that people ran to. I saw my friend run to that one. As the storm passed through the Apostles and friends felt none of the storm’s effects but those in the other bunker felt everything and God actually had to step in and boxed them in to protect them. Like everyone had their own individual box that was protection from the storm’s affects. Once the storm was over, everyone made it out. I saw my friend and she was speaking about how bad the storm was and though that was true, my experience was not hers I did not experience the same trauma because of the route I took. She looked rough and I did not.
This vision is a vision of the seperation. We have choices as how we will respond to knowing God. We can choose to live a life of worship before Him or it is our complete voalition to live our life without knowing Him.
Contining about the wise and foolish virgins, though the wise virgins had oil we can observe that they did not have enough to pour. They had reserved enough for themselves alone.
They were sleeping on the watch just as the disciples slept when Jesus asked them to watch in the Garden of Gethsemane.
The final thing to note is neither set of virgins were in the spirit like the previously mentioned companies’ of prophets. They had to hear the cry going out because they weren’t on their watch but, when they did awaken, they had oil in their vessels. This is the epitome of the scripture below…
Revelation 22:12 “Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done.
And just as it was in the beginning so shall it be in the end.
Matthew 24:38-39
[38] For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, [39] and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
You see this today some are watching and not praying. Just as in Matthew 25, some person had to tell the brides that the bridegroom is coming. Some are praying and not watching. Some aren’t doing either praying or watching.
The Word Ready: What does it mean??
2092 hétoimos (from heteos, “fitting”) – ready because prepared; “standing by,” ready to meet the opportunity (challenge) at hand; ready because the necessary preparations are done (or are sure to happen as needed).
- of persons; ready, prepared: to do something, Acts 23:21; to receive one coming,
Despite the virgins being asleep, not in the spirit, when the cry went out to meet the bridegroom, they had still done the necessary preparations to make sure their vessels had oil. This would even still allow them to be ready because they were prepared to meet Him..
The Bride Makes Herself Ready with action. She doesn’t just see a problem afar off or even close by and do nothing about it. She sees the problem and gets into action…putting a plan in place of preparation to thwart and be prepared for an upcoming event.
I had this vision recently and in this vision I was in this place. I had instantaneous knowledge that the door had been shut and no one could get in but I could get out.
Just like the story of the 5 foolish virgins and the 5 wise virgins we all have a choice to remain with Him or leave but if you leave Him you have to be aware that you may be facing a time where the door is closed and it may be too late to get prepared. So prepare yourself and stay prepared.
TRANSFIGURATION
Funny thing happened to me recently, I had been asking God about the fire of God. I had some knowledge and revelation about what it came to do but I wanted more clarity on it. So as I said earlier, you have to pay attention to when He is speaking and as I am scrolling down Instagram, I see a recipe for sweet potatoes stuffed with collard greens. I was interested so I clicked on the video. As I’m listening to the recipe, the guy says you have to let the onions cook down until they become transparent. That hit me in my spirit. God was speaking to me through that. I began to understand that in order to walk in the spirit, transformation has to happen and the fire of God is one of the conduits that assists with this process. The fire consumes the flesh to bring us into the spirit. Just like the onions become translucent when cooked, symbolic of the spirit, the fire of God aids in bringing us into the spirit.
The transfiguration is about coming into a place where our mortal bodies come into our divinity which is the likeness and character of our God. This quickening comes about when we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and are infilled with His spirit. We come past transformation and have endured the refiners fire and the flesh has been consumed by this fire and there is a quickening of our mortal body.
Romans 8:6-11
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
The word quicken in Roman 8:11 has this definition which I thought was very powerful.
2227 /zōopoiéō (“make alive, enliven”) is particularly used of God infusing His life in the believer. The Lord infuses eternal life (zōē) into us each time we receive (obey) faith from Him. This enables living with God – not just for Him (cf. Gal 2:20; Ro 8:28-30; 1 Jn 5:4). His self-existent, all-powerful life overcomes all the deadly effects of sin. https://biblehub.com/greek/2227.htm
It was 2 things I found interesting about that definition…
- The Lord infuses eternal life (zōē) into us each time we receive (obey) faith from Him
To me, this reiterates the point that our mortal bodies come into our divinity. We also can see here that this is a process.
- This enables living with God – not just for Him
This reiterates Adam walking with God in the cool of the day.
This type of awakening takes us beyond our salvation into our divinity. In this state of being we are light. Great and bright lights and this is our original state. Adam and Eve were clothed with the glory of God. When they ate of the tree of good and evil they realized they had no covering and now God made a covering for them.
We can see this in the bible where Jesus’ true state was revealed his disciples…
Matthew 17:1-3 KJV
[1] And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, [2] and was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. [3] And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
I had an experience where I was on a 3 month Daniel fast. I had taken away all gospel music and replaced it with the hearing and reading of the word. Also, I had limited TV watching and 3-6 hours of prayer daily. At the end of this fast one day I was in my bedroom and my eyes were closed. I was going to sleep and as my eyes were shut and the light was sooooooooo bright it was blinding. I thought my mom had come into the bedroom to type on the computer and had turn the light on in my room. I opened my eyes and the light outside was sooooooo dim and dull compared to this light. I didn’t understand what was going on then and no one could ever teach me but through this manner of saturation in Him I was being transfigured and had no idea where God was trying to take me. Our obedience and faithfulness in pursuit of Him changes our appearance and everything about us that there be no limitations on our mortal bodies and this process of coming into our divinity is the transfiguration.
