This blog has a different spin on has the Lord heard you. Of course as you are learning God’s voice many wonder did He hear their prayer but what about when God expresses to you that He hears you.
In my private prayer time, I would hear God say to me often, Nikkisha I hear you. My response would be reassured, thankful and grateful. One day, however, my former apostle was preaching and brought a scripture about God hearing you and it made me perk up. Now I don’t remember the scripture but I thought hmmm maybe there is more to this than I think. I never persued it any further until yesterday, God just kept saying to me, Nikkisha I hear you. So I said well let me go see what God has to say about Him hearing us.
(1) One thing this says according to Psalms 66:18, God listens to you when you don’t cherish inquity. What is inquity? Inquity is when you love to do a particular sin. You typically no longer has a moral compass operating that you feel the guilt of that sin.
Ps 66:18 If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.
(2) According to Psalms 4:3, God has set me apart for himself.
Ps 4:3 But know that the Lord has set apart the godly for himself; the Lord hears when I call to him.
(3) According to 1 John 5:14, I am praying and asking of Him according to His will.
1 John 5:14 He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he also hears their cry and saves them.
(4) According to John 9:31, I am a worshipper and I do His will.
We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him.
(5) According to 1 Peter 3:12, His eyes are on me and I am standing in righteouness before him.
1 Peter 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”

This is so good to me and a reminder of the fact that as intercessors if we are fulfilling the will of the Father, He hears us.
